About Us

In March 2020, when all of our worlds got turned upside down, I found myself working as a nurse in the Emergency Department, right on the frontlines of the pandemic. Eventually, I transitioned to the Intensive Care Unit. I was tired, anxious, and frankly, completely burnt out. I was desperate to find something—anything—that would help me with my mental health and help me cope with the constant “what-ifs” of my day-to-day job.

Over time, I realized that cleaning became an unexpected outlet for stress. Having a clean home helped my mind relax, even if just for a moment. That’s when it really hit me…the impact a clean space has on mental health and overall well-being. It brings a sense of order to the chaos of our day to day lives.

In December 2022, my good friend Rosa and I decided to take that idea and turn it into something real; we launched Two Girls One Mop LLC. Rosa has since returned to full-time nursing, but she played a huge role in getting this business off the ground and making it what it is today.

Our mission is simple! We want to provide outstanding cleaning services to our local community and give people a much-needed break from their everyday routines.

In July 2023, the business grew, and I hired our first full-time employee, Erika. Then in March 2024, we expanded again and welcomed another amazing team member, Kaila! Now, with three employees and a growing client base, I’m beyond grateful for the incredible team that makes this all possible.

I truly believe that a clean home can give you peace of mind and a sense of calm—the perfect foundation for a better day.

As a nurse myself, I know firsthand what it feels like to work in a thankless profession. That’s why we proudly support all healthcare workers, first responders, and teachers. To show our appreciation, we offer 10% off your initial clean—it’s the least we can do to give back to those who are still out there helping others. Fill out an estimate today!
